The Radisson’s Stansted location is definitely one of the handsomest establishments at the Essex airport. Located in a large, glassy, contemporary building, it contains over 500 bedrooms and suites. These range from Standard level to Business Class, but all have 24-hour room service, free tea and coffee and free high-speed wi-fi.
You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to eat and drinking here: Collage is a British brasserie serving plates like smoked haddock kedgeree, while Station 169 works with a jazzy, Anglo-American vibe. For drinks, head to The Angels’ Wine Tower Bar – where they also regularly host aerial acrobatic displays. (What else, at an airport hotel bar?!) Meanwhile, the Radisson Blu’s health club has an indoor heated pool, a sauna steam room with bookable beauty services – as well as a gym with exercise equipment. If you want to do Stansted in style, this should definitely be considered.
