This hotel has really gone to town with its decoration. Dark walls, plush, floral-patterned seating, floor-to-ceiling silk curtains and antique furniture all make you feel like you've stepped into a Victorian, aristocratic mansion, which is certainly no bad thing.
The hotel is situated just a seven-minute walk from Liverpool Street Station, in a cobbled street in London's trendy Spitalfields. You'll want to keep your weekend free for checking out the vintage wares on offer at Old Spitalfields Market (a three-minute walk away.) While art-fiends should hotfoot it to the Barbican Centre (a nine-minute walk away) and history buffs to the Tower of London (a 20-minute walk away).
Each unique bedroom has air conditioning (it's nice to have the option for when the sun does decide to come out) and an Apple TV with media hub, and complimentary WiFi is available throughout the hotel.
Best of all, you can enjoy breakfast from the comfort and luxury of your bed but we recommend munching on freshly-baked croissants and the famous Brick Lane beigels in the beautiful Tapestry Room with its sunny, private courtyard. Guests can make themselves at home in the honesty bar with a stiff drink, (which we're sure the Victorians would approve of).
