This family run hotel may be small in size but it's large on cleanliness, friendliness and high-quality furnishings. It's also in one hell of a good location, nearby to the bars, restaurants and clubs of Dalston, Hoxton and Shoreditch. Little touches such as a kettle, bathrobes, slippers and memory foam mattresses make guests feel comfortable and looked after. An on-site Indian restaurant and 24-hour front desk and free WiFi are welcome additions. Though not in the usual tourist spot, you'll stumble across little gems like Dalston Eastern Curve Garden and the lovely, grade II listed, art deco Rio Cinema. There are decent enough transport links should you wish to explore more of London.
