Deep in the basement of Sea Containers London hotel on the South Bank you’ll find the heaven-like Agua Spa. The bright, white interiors, with sweeping curves and warm golden lighting, are the complete opposite of a grey and dreary London day – just popping down there in the lift feels like a mini escape.
Guests can be primed and polished with grooming treatments in the Glamour Room, or, if deep relaxation is on the cards, you’ll be ushered into a plush private room for a treatment from wellness brands such as Made for Life, Soveral, Natura Bisse, Dr Jackson’s and De Mamiel. We opted for the Soveral Signature Facial and found ourselves glowing after an envigorating and firm face massage with a series of delicious aromatherapy-based products.
To maintain those chilled-out post-treatment vibes, guests are invited to sip herbal teas, enjoy a hot water bottle or snuggle with a duvet in the spa lounge. Beds, which are surrounded by light curtains for privacy, face an eye-catching copper teardrop installation created by designer Tom Dixon. You can even order nutritious salad bowls, juices and multivitamin sorbet sundaes while you prepare to face the outside world once again.
