Join an evening feast at the museum and learn all there is to know about scallops, rollmops and jellied eels in an event that combines gourmet food from the Biilingsgate Seafood School and a champagne and oyster bar with a broad range of cultural activities. We like the sound of the seafood poetry workshop, urban sociologist Dr Alex Rhys-Taylor's talk on changing taste, class and British seafood, the chance to sample some of the subjects under discussion in the champagne and oyster bar and a music programme curated by Mercury Prize nominees Sam Lee & The Nest Collective. And we'll definitely be signing up for the sea shanty workshop with the London Gay Men's Chorus. Not sure about those jellied eels though.
