The Holiday with live orchestra at The Barbican

It’s a ballerina Christmas at the Barbican, with some classic seasonal ballets being beamed straight onto the cinema’s screens from the Royal Ballet. Cinderella (2pm, Dec 15) and The Nutcracker (2pm, Dec 17) are matinee screenings to bring fleet-footed festive joy to culture vultures. Across the way at The Barbican Hall, the London Concert Orchestra will be accompanying a live scored screening of The Holiday for some late Christmas cheer on December 30.
