A man is shipwrecked on a beautiful island devoid of humans and must make the most of what he has to survive. After making attempts to escape, he is thwarted by the weather and a red turtle with a vendetta. Then an unexpected visitor arrives who will alter the man’s fate for all time.
From acclaimed director Michael Dudok de Wit, and produced by the legendary Academy Award-winning animation house Studio Ghibli (Spirited Away), comes a magical castaway story that combines beauty, nature and mystery.
