Ivory Christmas at Curzon

Curzon cinemas will be squeezing into some tight-fitting period garb and repressing their emotions for a season of Merchant Ivory classics in December. Ismail Merchant and James Ivory’s films may not immediately scream ‘noel’, but classics like Howards End, A Room With a View, Heat and Dust, and the James Ivory-produced Call Me By Your Name make a pretty compelling case that your family isn’t the most highly-strung dynamic out there – and who doesn’t need to hear that at Christmas? Season sponsor, Spanish wine maker Beronia, is throwing in a free glass of Rioja on December 14-15.
