Time Out says

Time Out Loves… spies. And if you do too, delve with us into the world of espionage on screen. We're taking over the atmospheric Hornsey Town Hall Arts Centre, used for filming TV shows like 'The Hour' and movies like 'In the Loop', for a weekend of films, talks and a big party to celebrate spies in the movies and the ultimate spy novelist, John le Carré.
On Friday May 6 from 7pm, come and watch two of the greatest adaptations of John le Carré's work in the atmospheric surroundings of the old Council Chamber. Introduced by Time Out’s own Global Film Editor Dave Calhoun, we’ll be watching:
'The Spy Who Came in from the Cold' (1965, 112 mins) Richard Burton stars in this excellent Cold War thriller – the first ever movie of a John le Carré novel.
+
'Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy' (2011, 127 mins) Gary Oldman and Colin Firth head an all-star British cast in this superb, stylish movie of le Carré's best-known book.
