Now the backing singers are taking centre stage in '20 Feet From Stardom', a documentary exploring the lives, loves and hardships of these hardworking women. Directed by award-winning TV doc-maker Morgan Neville, the film features interviews with Springsteen, Wonder, Mick Jagger, Sheryl Crow and many other big names. Following a series of successful film festival screenings last year, '20 Feet From Stardom' is now one of the nominees for this year's Best Documentary Oscar and will be released in cinemas March 28 2014.
