Willesden Green Wassail

An ancient English tradition reappropriated for modern urban life. The original wassailers gathered in their orchards to sing to the trees and hope for a good harvest. In the Willesden Green Wassail, residents, musicians and poets will march through the High Street singing to independent shopkeepers and celebrating their urban community. Gather at Willesden Green tube station at 2.15pm for a 2.30pm start.
