My Bloody Valentine, Rodriguez, The Horrors, Jimmy Cliff, The Cribs, Dinosaur Jr, Presidents of the United States of America, First Aid Kit, Martha Wainwright, Edwyn Collins, Black Lips, The Lightning Seeds, Gaz Coombs, Veronica Falls, Theme Park, Public Service Broadcasting, Post War Years.

The Hop Farm festival prides itself on its lack of branding or sponsorship, although that may have contributed to its financial woes last year: the local police and, acts including Suede and Peter Gabriel, were owed thousands of pounds each when Vince Power's Music Festivals PLC went into administration in 2012. But this year's festival is pressing ahead regardless, and a freewheeling, genre-straddling mix of musical superstars old and new, and a picturesque setting in rural Kent, mean that Hop Farm is sure to be a laid-back, no-frills, all-about-the-tunes idyll – and should, fingers crossed, be enough of a draw to ensure that everyone gets paid this time.
