Time Out says

Annual service at which clowns, dressed in full costume, gather to honour the king of the clowns, Joseph Grimaldi (1778-1837). After the colourful service, clowning memorabilia will be on sale for half an hour, then there's a free clown show in the school hall over the road. Arrive early to get a seat – it's a popular event and the church often overflows.
