Now in its second year, Gottwood festival – set in the leafy-green surrounds of Carreglwyd wooded gardens – is the music and arts festival aimed to bring the organisation and choices made in running a festival a little closer to the people with their 'Twig Society', the manifesto of which states that Gottwood will be 'a more balanced musical, visual and cultural' festival and 'encourage enterprising collaborations and spontaneity'. So, you won't be expected to rave to the same old line-ups across the festival board. Yes, that trendy young producer/mixer/keys-man from The XX is headlining, but the exciting swing-hop duo TC are also performing alongside the likes of the ambient, cut 'n' paste house maestro AGCG from Blighty and Irish techno king PK.
