Twelve European skateboarding teams battle it out on custom-built ramps in the market. The teams themselves have designed the ramps to showcase the best of their skills and tricks, and to reflect the East End location, so expect Spitalfields to be transformed into a unique skate park for the day. The Superdead team have created a 'ye olde English pub'-inspired obstacle course with trap doors, bars and beer barrels, while Death Skateboards' efforts reference Jack the Ripper with Victorian graffiti and a skateable version of Ripper haunt The Ten Bells pub. Rounding out the day will be a pizza parlour, waffle booth, screenprinting, athlete signings (skateboarding legend Tony Alva is slated to attend), a retail area and an afterparty at Village Underground.
