Colourscape Music Festival 2012

This huge inflatable labyrinth consists of almost 100 brightly coloured chambers radiating from a cathedral-like performance space. Visitors don coloured capes to wander around the one-acre space and at weekends musicians perform throughout the structure, providing an experience that is a fusion of colour and sound. Performances are: Renaissance Uprising (Sep 15); the Elysian String Quartet (Sep 16); improvised music with the Alison Blunt Ensemble (Sep 22); and Alice in Wonderland (Sep 23), a new commission for Colourscape in which visitors discover strange new musical creatures.
