The line-up includes composer Eska (Zimbabwe/UK), who fronts Matthew Herbert and the Cinematic Orchestra; Elysian Quartet (UK) with Maya Youssef (UK/Syria); Jose Hernando Noguera and Angelica Lopez (Colombia/UK); one-woman band Tanya Auclair (UK/Rwanda) and a BBC Radio 3 World Routes Academy collaboration of vallenata-style accordion and vocals. Sam Lee (UK/Jewish) will be launching his debut Nu-Folk album ‘Ground Of Its Own’ and collaborating with Algerian virtuosos Yazid Fentazi and Karim Dellali. Plus subversive stand-up Jeremy Hardy, singer songwriter and BBC 6music broadcaster Cerys Matthews and playwright and poet Lemn Sissay.
