Wasteland

Gary Clarke's dance work is all about the moment when rave culture exploded in post-industrial Yorkshire. 'Wasteland' is his euphoric follow up to 'COAL', which was set in the world of striking miners in the '80s. A company of dancers will resurrect vintage rave moves, to a live soundtrack performed by a male choir and brass instruments.
