The Sleeping Beauty

One of the big ballet classics, 'The Sleeping Beauty' is one of those lavish shows that the Royal Ballet have to put on to get the crowds in (and fill the coffers), but when it's danced well it definitely has some magical moments – primarily the famous Rose Adagio. First artist Akane Takada will be taking on that challenge for the first time as she debuts in the Aurora role (Oct 22 & 28).
