The Rose International Dance Prize

Introducing dance’s answer to the Turner Prize... The Rose International Dance Prize premieres at Sadler’s Wells this February, with a bill of seven of the most exciting new works from contemporary dance in 2025. Works competing for the prize include Christos Papadopoulos’s piece inspired by an iceberg, ‘LARSEN C’, Lia Rodrigues’s ‘Encantado’, inspired by the favelas of Rio de Janeiro, and ‘CARCAÇA’ by Marco da Silva Ferreira, which explores collective identity, memory and cultural stagnation.
