The Pursuit of Now

Superb contemporary choreographer Akram Khan stages the world premiere of his new piece as part of the 2nd Buta Festival of Azerbaijani Arts. It's a collaboration between the choreographer and jazz pianist Shahin Novrasli. Over two nights Akram will improvise along with other dancers to pieces with Shahin and his fellow musicians. Khan's co-performers include Berlin-based dancer Honji Wang and Jozef Frucek.
