Sonia Sabri Company: Kaavish

Birmingham-based choreographer Sonia Sabri aims to present classical Indian kathak dance in contemporary ways. Her latest piece 'Kaavish' is performed by Sabri herself and the excellent Ash Mukherjee, and was originally inspired by the 1968 Woody Allen play 'Death Knocks', a monologue about our fear of dying.
