Song of the City

Ash Mukherjee – a fantastic performer and exciting voice in contemporary Indian dance – presents a new production inspired by the work of Rabindranath Tagore, with music by Arun Ghosh. Mukherjee is trained in classical Indian dance and ballet but has dabbled in cabaret, dance theatre, Bollywood and commercial dance, so you can expect a range of influences to inflect 'Song of the City', which is set against a twenty-first century urban backdrop.
