Ahead of the performance by the Lucinda Childs Dance Company this evening, a screening of Patrick Bensard's 2006 documentary about the influential choreographer. The film looks at Childs's early career with the Judson Dance Theater, her work with Robert Wilson and Philip Glass and her subsequent move into opera. The film includes interviews with Glass, Susan Sontag and Mikhail Baryshnikov among others. The screening is followed by a Q&A with Childs hosted by Dance Umbrella director Betsy Gregory.
