A triple bill from the Royal Ballet featuring Kenneth MacMillan's 'The Rite of Spring', his interpretation of the famous Stravinsky score. This time there's a twist in that the role of The Chosen One, usually played by a woman, will be danced alternately by male principals Edward Watson and Steven McRae. Also on the bill is Glenn Tetley's gorgeous 'Voluntaries', set to music by Poulenc, and Ashton's 'Scènes de Ballet', a piece of pure movement inspired by Euclidian geometry.
