Richmond Ballet

Not Richmond upon Thames, but Richmond, Virginia. The US company makes its UK debut performing four ballets, ranging from John Butler's 1966 'After Eden' to 2011's 'Swipe' by American choreographer Val Caniparoli (formerly of San Francisco Ballet). There's also Balanchine's 'Valse Fantaisie' – one man, five ballerinas and a waltzing score by Glinka. Should show off an eclectic range of talent in choreography ranging from the classical to the contemporary.
