Phoenix Dance: Windrush: Movement Of The People

In 1948, the first Caribbean migrants arrived in England on the ship the Empire Windrush. Inspired by this moment, Sharon Watson's new work for Phoenix Dance Theatre is an uplifting journey through black British history, exploring the struggles and community these arrivals formed. This line-up also includes 'Calyx', by Sandrine Monin, and Christopher Bruce's shadows.
