This surreal, Lynchian performance by Peeping Tom is an unsettling reflection on motherhood. Director Gabriela Carrizo and a cast of physical theatre performances stage an abstract series of scenes, set in a studio, a museum, a maternity ward. As their bodies contort, they evoke the subconscious emotions of motherhood with eerie wit.
Peeping Tom’s '32 rue Vandenbranden' won an Olivier Award for Best New Dance Production in 2015. 'Mother' is part of London International Mime Festival 2018.
