Artist Pablo Bronstein moves between the visual art, live art and dance worlds, and he's augmenting his latest exhibition at the ICA with a new dance performance, 'Plaza Minuet' / 'The Birth of Venus'. Bronstein is particularly interested in structure – in both the architectural and societal sense – and with examining the mechanics of form. These two pieces utilise the languages of baroque and neoclassical dance as well as modern and postmodern styles. 'Plaza Minuet' is a development of a piece he made for the Tate Triennial in 2006, which saw performers obeying a series of strict rules of behaviour.
