New English Ballet Theatre is a new company made up of young dancers at the beginning of their careers. The venture aims for a cross-disciplinary approach, commissioning young designers, composers and choreographers to create work especially for NEBT. For this show, 'Synergies', the company will be performing new works by George Williamson, Jenna Lee and Andrew McNicol. It's not often you get a new ballet company and this one comes with some starry patrons – Darcey Bussell, Carlos Acosta and Mara Galeazzi – so we'll be watching with interest.
