Three new commssions from the Associate Artists of the Royal Opera House: Freddie Opoku-Addaie, Laila Diallo and Sarah Dowling. Opoku-Addaie, twice a finalist in the Place Prize, has been exploring traditional craft techniques and handmaking processes for his latest work; Diallo, a former dancer and rehearsal director for Wayne McGregor, focuses on the ideas of migrataion and transience; while Sarah Dowling, previously a performer with Punchdrunk, veers towards science fiction for her offering.
