Mayuri Boonham: Ex Nihilo / The Human Edge

Two world premieres from the Choreographic Affiliate of the Royal Ballet Studio Programme Mayuri Boonham. 'Ex Nihilo' is inspired by the 'Hymn of Creation' the sacred Hindu text and is set against recordings from the large Hadron Collider at CERN. 'The Human Edge' is based on the story of the goddess Sati and is danced by Royal Ballet first soloist Yuhui Choe.
