Maria Pages & Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui

An intriguing collaboration between two excellent dancemakers, flamenco artist Maria Pages and contemporary dance theatre's Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui. 'Dunas' is inspired by a landscape of undulating sand dunes and set to live music by Szymon Brzoska and Ruben Lebaniegos. Cherkaoui's previous collaborations have seen him working with kathak dancer Akram Khan, Indian kuchipudi dancer Shantala Shivalingappa and the monks of the Shaolin temple, so 'Dunas' should be another interesting cross-cultural journey.
