Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo

Men in frocks aping glorious bygone ballerinas – that's the gist of this all-male ballet troupe, who perform classics of the dance canon, pointe shoes and all. It sounds like a joke, except that The Trocks have been going for over 35 years now, and have built an impressive following for their meticulous, reverential and camply amusing tributes. This programme includes extracts from 'Swan Lake' and Merce Cunningham inspired piece 'Patterns in Space'.
