Le Coq d'Or

Based on Alexander Pushkin's fairytale, Rimsky-Korsakov's ballet tells of an aged Tsar Dodon who asks a sorcerer for help to bring peace to his kingdom. The Moscow State Opera and Ballet Theatre stage the show, which is conducted by Alevtina Ioffe and performed in Russian with English surtitles.
