James Cousins is the winner of the inaugural New Adventures Choreographer Award, an initiative launched by choreographer Matthew Bourne to nurture new dance-makers. Cousins impressed Bourne with his knack for creating entertaining work with substance, and he shows two pieces here: a duet based on Alain Robbe-Grillet's novel 'Jealousy' and a collaboration with lighting designer Lee Curran and set designer Colin Falconer. You can also see a work from the competition's runner-up, Tom Jackson Greaves.
