Gudirr Gudirr

Part of the Origins Festival of First Nations, 'Gudirr Gudirr' is named after the call of Australia's guwayi bird. In this piece by Asian-Indigenous choreographer Dalisa Pigram (working with Les Ballets C de la B's Koen Augustijnen), the subject is the past and future of Aboriginal people in north-west Australia, a community facing massive industrialisation on traditional lands.
