The Guangdong Acrobatic Troupe of China have a new take on the classic ballet story, where a European prince falls in love with a Chinese swan and their adventure is played out with the help of pole balancing, jumping through fire hoops, rope walking, ball walking and jujitsu. Most memorably, the central pas de deux involves the swan balancing on pointe on the head of her prince. A show full of stunning physical feats.
