A dance technique developed by the Israeli choreographer Ohad Naharin for his Batsheva Dance Company. It's nothing to do with Lady Gaga, in fact it's quite the opposite of her sharp, stylised stage shows as it's based on drawing out the body's own natural movement in long, fluid motions, using visualisation rather than formal steps and exercises. Taught by ex-Batsheva dancer Chisato Ohno, this is a general level class but probably not suited to absolute beginners. Ohno is due to start a class for beginners in December 2012. Check the website for details.
