Fifty Years of the Ballet

Photographer Colin Jones started his career as a dancer with the Royal Ballet before turning to photography in the '60s. This archive show brings together his images of life backstage and on tour, capturing greats from Margot Fonteyn to Rudolf Nureyev. There are some fantastic images here (all for sale), especially the ones that evoke offstage life, with dancers in their digs or down the pub, or the picture of ballerina Elizabeth Anderton wrapped in furs on a grim street in Glasgow's Gorbals. it's just a shame that crammed into one room they're not shown off as well as they could be.
