Dance and umbrellas were bedfellows long before Rihanna got in on the act: since 1978, London’s unique Dance Umbrella international festival has offered a host of smart, genre-blending, and beautiful contemporary dance for our delectation. A line-up of international dance-makers, many of them barely known on these shores, will be showing off their wares in London this October (8th-27th October 2019) alongside an array of homegrown talent.
