Vibrant, varied and brilliantly exciting dance festival Dance Umbrella returns for 2018 with a line up of dance shows staged all over London. This year's headliner is '17c', an iconoclastic riff on Samuel Pepys diaries that comes to the Old Vic after an acclaimed opening in New York. It's joined on the programme by 'Everything That Rises Must Dance', a work by Sasha Milavic Davies that features a chorus of 200 female performers from across the city. 'Red' by Wen Hui reimagines a Chinese epic ballet from the Cultural Revolution, mixing guns, pointe shoes and projected film. And festival-within-a-festival 'Out of the System' makes room for dance and street culture with a Shoreditch Town Hall takeover. Head to the Dance Umbrella website for full listings.
