Three national dance companies – Scottish Ballet, National Dance Company Wales and English National Ballet – join together in a triple bill of new commissions with a Olympic theme (of course). Scottish Ballet performs Martin Lawrance's 'Run For It', set to John Adams; NDCWales dances a tongue-in-cheek sporting tribute by Christopher Bruce, set to Ravel's 'Bolero'; and ENB performs a new piece by Israeli choreographer Itzik Galili, inspired by John Cage's music for prepared piano. Three quality choreographers and some cracking dancers.
