Time Out says

Scottish Ballet is propelling the age-old story of a mechanical doll that comes to life into the 21st century with this production of Coppélia. Set in Silicon Valley, the AI inventions from the hot new inventor Dr Coppelius (who incidentally looks a lot like Steve Jobs) are not all that they seem. Choreographed and directed by Morgann Runacre-Temple and Jessica Wright, the contemporary ballet will add a new dimension to the dancing with live projections. The original Delibes score has also been given a modern kick by Mikael Karlsson and Michael P Atkinson. Having already received a number of five-star reviews, this ambitious reimagining promises to electrify.
