Compañia del Cuerpo de Indias

Compañia del Cuerpo is the professional company of Colombia's El Colegio del Cuerpo, which over the last 15 years has provided a programme of dance and academic training to thousands of young people, many from vulnerable backgrounds. Here they perform 'Inxile (The Trail of Tears)' by Alvaro Restrepo, a tribute to Colombia's more than four million refugees, set to Henryk Gorecki's 'Symphony of Sorrowful Songs'.
