Breakin' Convention 2012

Curated and directed by Sadler's Wells Associate Artist Jonzi D, the International Festival of Hip Hop Dance Theatre returns for its ninth year. Since its inception in 2004 Breakin' Convention has showcased over 400 UK and international companies. This year's highlights include ILL-Abilities, an international breakdance company that challenges the misconceptions about people with disabilities (May 5 & 7), Vagabond Crew (from France – May 6 & 7), B-boy Ata (from Finland – May 6 & 7), Serial Stepperz (from France – May 5), Storyboard P (from the US – May 6 & 7) and PT 3000 Ft. Demons of the Mind (from the US – May 5 & 6).
