Beijing Dance Theater

Continuing a season of work with an Asian slant at Sadler's Wells, a visit from China's Beijing Dance Theater with 'Haze'. Set to Henryk Gorecki's 'Symphony of Sorrowful Songs' and music by Biosphere, the work is a response to the economic and environmental crises the world finds itself in. Choreographer Wang Yuanyuan, who founded the company in 2008, was previously resident choreographer at the National Ballet of China and has also created work for New York City Ballet.
