Ballet National de Marseille will perform six short pieces, ranging from the minimalist to the hyper-realistic, at the Southbank Centre this March. This is no stuffy classical ballet, this is a cool ballet. There's ‘Grime Ballet’, where elements of ballet, Jamaican dancehall, krump, house and split and jump are all combined over an intense grime soundtrack. Then, in ‘Weather is Sweet’ the dancers will explore self-love. Plus much more. We like to think of this as dance for Gen Z, don't miss out.
