Cassa Pancho's company of black and Asian classically trained dancers performs four new commissions. There's a pas de deux by the Royal Ballet's Jonathan Watkins, a new quartet from Martin Lawrance (Richard Alston Dance Company) and a solo by Jonathan Goddard (Rambert Dance Company), designed to be danced by either a man or a woman. To top it off, Christopher Hampson, just announced as the new artistic director of Scottish Ballet, has made a new narrative ballet, 'Storyville', set in New Orleans in the early 1900s.
