Tate Modern's new galleries dedicated to live art and performance, The Tanks, open with Belgian choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker performing her early masterwork, 'Fase' (1982). Set to the phase music of Steve Reich, De Keersmaeker's choreographic response is a piece of stark brilliance, physically manifesting the shifting rhythms of Reich's score. You can see excerpts of the work in free, short performances during the day, while the full work is performed at ticketed events in the evenings.
